Title:
IPAM SSO Login times out, workaround available
Summary of Work:
We have opened a support case with the vendor, but it may take some time for them to identify the cause.

For the time being, please continue to use the alternative login method as a workaround (and don't spend a lot of time on GUI personalizations just yet). Feel free to contact hostmgr for help if you have trouble with the alternative login method.

Resolution:
Based on the response from vendor support, we have disabled SSO Login in production IPAM until further notice, and will rely upon the alternative login method. See https://blogs.illinois.edu/view/1010/1501633821 for additional information, and contact hostmgr with any questions or concerns.
Title:
IPAM SSO Login times out
Summary of Work:

Impacted Audience:
IT Pros
Impact of Work:
Clicking the "SSO Login" button at ipam.illinois.edu currently results in a connection timeout. Technology Services has opened a support case with the vendor.

Meanwhile, IT Pros can log in to IPAM using your full Active Directory userPrincipalName (typically yournetid@illinois.edu) and the regular "Login" button.

IPAM is not able to prompt you for a second factor, but you can append a passcode or factor name to your password as documented in https://guide.duo.com/append-mode (if you don't append anything, you should automatically receive a push or phone callback depending on your Duo settings).

Please see https://wiki.illinois.edu/wiki/display/ipamdocs/Known+Issues (under Authentication) to understand a possible source of confusion with regard to GUI personalizations.
